Propst Development and Chartwell Hospitality have introduced plans to develop a Conrad hotel in Nashville. Slated to open in 2021, the 237-room, 14-floor Conrad Nashville will be located in one of the two towers at Broadwest, a new $540 million mixed-use community.

Propst and Chartwell will co-own the Conrad Nashville together. The developers have picked Cooper Carry as the design firm, Hoar Construction as the general contractor and Champalimaud Design as the interior designer. Chartwell will operate the hotel.

According to Rob Schaedle, founder and manager partner of Chartwell Hospitality, Conrad Nashville will mark only the third franchised luxury property by Hilton. “Hilton’s decision to bring a Conrad property in our backyard signifies that Broadwest will be a destination of its own, and we are honored to uphold the brand’s standards while adding our signature flair for visitors and locals,” he said in a statement.

Broadwest will consist of two towers connected by 125,000 square feet of retail and office space. The 34-story tower the Conrad Nashville will occupy will include 196 high-end condominiums. The neighboring 21-story tower will include 510,000 square feet of office space.
