ServisFirst Bank has become the first announced office tenant for the future Broadwest mixed-used development in Midtown.

According to a release, the subsidiary of Birmingham-based ServisFirst Bancshares Inc. will relocate its regional operations to the 21-story Class A office tower now under construction. The bank will occupy the building’s entire second floor, totaling more than 20,000 square feet.

Additionally, ServisFirst Bank will offer a retail financial center at Broadwest, taking approximately 2,500 square feet of space in a three-story building (pictured) to be located between the office tower and a 34-story high-rise that will include 196 high-end condominiums and a 237-room Conrad Nashville hotel by Hilton.

Terms of the lease deal were not disclosed in a release.

Currently, ServisFirst operates its regional office at 1801 West End Ave.

Huntsville, Alabama-based Propst Development is undertaking the development, which has an address of 1600 West End Ave.

“Broadwest is a great project in an ideal location for our fast-growing presence in the Middle Tennessee market,” Bradford Vieira, ServisFirst Bank executive vice president and regional CEO, said in the release. “We are very excited to partner with Propst Development and are looking forward to being part of Broadwest.”

Broadwest is expected to be completed in early 2021, with the buildings to sit on a one-block footprint near the Broadway and West End Avenue split.

Chris Brown, Propst principal, said ServisFirst is a “strategic tenant” for the future office tower.

“I have known many of the executives of ServisFirst for years and their strong banking lineage along with growth plans will be a great fit for the Broadwest office tower,” he said.

ServisFirst Bank plans the Broadwest move for March 2021.
